RN Nurse Coordinator, Assisted Living; Part-Time to Full-Time, 24-30 hours per week; $3000 Sign-On Bonus!

Northcrest Community has an opportunity for a RN Nurse Coordinator to work with the Assisted Living team in our newly opened assisted living building!

Assisted Living at Northcrest Community promotes a resident's independence and uniqueness, while also promoting a fun and social atmosphere in which our residents thrive.

The RN Nurse Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the general well-being of residents through the delivery of high quality clinical services in a manner that is consistent with the mission, vision and philosophy of Northcrest Community, and the philosophy of Assisted Living. This position partners with the Director of Assisted Living in keeping the facility compliant with applicable state and federal laws and regulations.

The RN Nurse Coordinator directs care for all Assisted Living residents and their individual needs.  The RN Nurse Coordinator’s focus is to maintain residents at an optimal level of health and to support independence.  Collaborates with physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, social services, family members, Resident Associates, hospitals, clinics, and other community agencies to deliver quality care and to achieve optimal resident outcomes.

Current RN license in good standing with the Iowa Board of Nursing

Minimum of three years previous Assisted Living experience preferred

Knowledge of local and state regulations and guidelines, including IAC 481.67 and 481.69

Supervisory experience preferred

Excellent communication and leadership ability with a strong initiative to provide thoughtful assistance to our residents
