We work hard at Northcrest Community to maintain the highest quality of life for our residents. We provide peace of mind for them, their family members and friends.
We provide a full continuum of retirement living. Our options range from independent living for active retirees, to assisted living, to our licensed Health Center, to dementia services and Alzheimer's care at Heartwood House.
At Northcrest Community, you can live the life you want. If personal assistance is needed while living in an independent apartment or townhome, Northcrest offers personalized home health care services. This keeps you independent for as long as possible in your home.
Proper Attention Given
If and when a resident needs nursing care, they're given proper attention in our on-site Health Center or Heartwood House. In our private rooms, each resident receives an individualized Wellness Care Plan that tailors specifically to their needs.
We are also dedicated to keeping our residents engaged and stimulated with our Health Center and Heartwood House activities.
With our Life Care community, we meet the current and future needs of residents in a safe, secure and comfortable environment.
Health Center
We know there's more to resident care than physical wellness, so that's why we've made our Health Center comfortable and inviting. Each resident has a private room that readily accommodates personal effects and decorating touches to make it uniquely yours, uniquely home.
With our Life Care commitment, if a resident moves to the Health Center, the monthly fee they were paying in their independent living apartment or townhome follows them.The only additions to their monthly fee are a meal charge and perhaps an enhanced level of care fee.
The Health Center is also available for short stays for situations like recuperation from a hospital stay.
Memory Care
The Heartwood House is our premier memory care facility within the Northcrest Community. We help people with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia continue to experience life's pleasures.
We have specifically designed the Heartwood House to support independence and emphasize individual dignity and personal choice. We know that living environments influence our quality of life and health. Heartwood House provides a tranquil setting both indoors and outdoors.
Home Health
Northcrest offers personalized home health care services to keep residents independent for as long as possible in their home.
Examples include bathing assistance, medication reminders, blood pressure/vitals monitoring, wound care and dressing changes, accompaniment to local doctor appointments, TED hose application, and safety checks.
