The Foundation

Making a Lasting Difference

In 2000, the Northcrest Foundation was created with a mission "to assist Northcrest, Inc. by encouraging charitable giving from individuals and organizations."

Northcrest has been blessed over the years with generous donors who recognized the importance of supporting the mission of Northcrest through gifts to the Northcrest Foundation. We are grateful for their support and look forward to helping future donors realize their philanthropic goals.

Donors are assured their gifts will be directed to the fund and purpose of their choice.  Since the Foundation does not operate Northcrest Community, and because it has a separate Board of Directors, it can be independent but still act for the benefit of Northcrest.

The Foundation is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors which consists of current members of the Northcrest, Inc. Board of Directors and at least two community members.

Your gift can make a difference in many ways.

When you give to the Northcrest Foundation, you are honoring and supporting a ministry of senior housing and healthcare. Perhaps you desire to create a legacy within an organization that has touched your life or the life of someone you love.

The various funds that are part of the Northcrest Foundation are as follows:

  • Permanent Endowment Fund

    • Your gift provides long-term financial stability to the programs and property of Northcrest.

  • Heartwood House Endowment

    • This fund was created to provide financial assistance to residents if circumstances have created a financial situation that would limit their ability to remain in the Heartwood House.

  • Fund for the Future

    • This is an unrestricted fund that may be used at the discretion of the Board of Directors for the betterment of Northcrest Community and its residents

  • Fox Family Professional Development Scholarship Fund

    • Your gift provides the opportunity for Northcrest employees to further their education as they serve Northcrest residents.  Applications are accepted bi-annually for formal education programs through area colleges and universities.

  • Yu Heng Gee Memorial Fund

    • This fund provides for staff education across all departments.  This is above and beyond the ongoing education provided to staff on a regular basis by Northcrest.

If a fund is not specifically designated, the gift will be designated towards the Fund for the Future.

If you would like to contribute a memorial gift in honor of someone special, please make a check payable to Northcrest Foundation, and mail to:
